The menu options above showcase different work products I have completed over the last couple of years (see Work Samples tab) as well as some of the course content I completed while doing graduate work in Instructional Design and Online Teaching.

The continuing medical education courses and the patient course on immunotherapy were developed in partnership with leading subject matter experts in the cancer immunotherapy academic research field.

ePortfolio Overview

This e-portfolio includes the process used as well as examples of the products I developed for various learning needs.  The projects were varied, team-centered and included the following:
 

  • Continuing Medical Education accredited courses for oncologists, pharmacists and other medical staff treating patients with advanced cancer.  Developed in partnership with leading subject matter experts.

  • A patient education course developed for the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer.

  • A training course for volunteers to help collect frog data at the local nature preserve,

  • A microlearning module on Type 2 Diabetes and how to prevent it. 

  • A video on Madison, Wisconsin.

  • A short module on SCORM and Learning Management Systems.

  • A complete project management document I worked on while in graduate school.  It includes the following:

    • Gap Analysis​

    • Project Charter

    • Design Document

    • Facilitator's Guide

    • The beginning of the Project Execution Plan and some related forms.

  • Creating games for teachers to use prior to taking students on a field trip to learn about certain species of animals.

  • A public service module for a law firm website that teaches viewers the importance of having underinsurance (in development).
